Introducing the quick brown fox, a new collection presenting English-language originals including works of fiction, narrative non-fiction and autofiction by contemporary writers not in translation.
Inspired by Lauren Elkin’s acclaimed urban travel diary No. 91/92: notes on a Parisian commute, which we published in Sept 2021, the quick brown fox will curate writing by feminist authors of all backgrounds, established and debut alike, in keeping with Les Fugitives’ border-crossing list.
In books published in this new collection, the role of women in the arts and society is foregrounded, naturally, and so are underrepresented experiences, voices from the margins and innovative literary forms.
