Jenny Higgins
Jenny Higgins translates from French and Italian. She has translated a range of novels, short stories and non-fiction, and produced the first translation of Jean Lorrain’s 1906 play Ennoïa. She has also translated Emmanuelle Pagano, Villiers de l’Isle-Adam and Rachilde. She runs translation workshops in schools, worked with the Queen’s College Translation Exchange from its inception until 2021, and was a mentor for the inaugural Peirene Stevns Translation Prize. She is one of the translators of Chicanes, by Clara Schulmann (Les Fugitives, 2023).
